Bow Hill-Cherry Smoothie
Smoothies are a great way to enjoy berries. You can enjoy smoothies as a snack or a meal. Any way you choose, they are a delicious treat–especially this one using our delicious heirloom Jersey berries.
INGREDIENTS
½ cup frozen Bow Hill Jersey heirloom blueberries
½ cup frozen dark sweet cherries
2 tablespoon Organic Heirloom Blueberry Powder
1 large handful mixed dark greens (chard, spinach, kale, arugula, beet greens, etc.)
1 cup of milk of choice
2 tablespoon nut or seed butter (almond, cashew, sunflower, coconut)
1 scoop unflavored collagen protein or other high-quality protein (like grass-fed whey), optional
DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients to an upright blender, blend until desired consistency is reached and serve!
NOTES
If smoothie consistency is too thin add frozen blueberries or ice.
If smoothie consistency is too thick, add extra milk 2 tablespoons at a time.
